Adobe InDesign plug-in "fontinfo.xml" files

I'm guessing that the Missing Fonts Loader creates these "fontinfo.xml" files in order to quickly activate fonts for a given file, but they seem also to be created for files that do not require any font activation (that is, fonts that are already loaded & activated before opening the file).

These .xml files are popping up all over the place and I'm wondering if there is an option to stop FontExpert/MissingFontsLoader from creating them. I realize this might slow things down (as the fonts will need to be searched for and activated each time a file is opened), but I'd like to avoid littering my C: drive with all of the .xml files.

fontinfo.xml is a file where all fonts used in given .indd document are listed. This file is used to activate fonts when you open .indd document.
To turn off creation of .xml files just clear the check box in the Missing Fonts Loader plugin window: "[x] Use font information xml files (Recommended)".
See Missing Fonts Loader plug-in.

Please note that this option is recommended.
