Filter fonts by presence of codepage

Post by asmodeus »

subj

I very often need to search through collection of 90 000+ fonts for cyrillic fonts, so is there a possibility to filter them?

It is possible to filter fonts by character set in the Files view.

Select Files view, browse for your fonts, and select desired character set (e.g. Cyrillic) in the combo box on the main toolbar (by default this combo box displays "All*" ).

It works pretty strange - still a lot of western-only fonts. Almost nothing filtered.

UPD: Got it working. You have to choose Cyrillic every time you change a folder, otherwise it doesn't filter files.

Thank you for this bug report, this issue should be fixed in the following release.

Applied to:
FontExpert 2006 Version 8.0 Release 1, Files view.

Description:
Character Set filter is not applied to font files displayed in the Files view.

Workaround:
To apply filter it is required to reselect character set name in the character set filter combo box.
