"Load" fonts temporarily? [implemented in 8.0]

Postby platdesign » Mon Feb 06, 2006 10:55 am

SUPPORT: Activate fonts temporarily feature was implemented in FontExpert 2006 version 8.0.

I downloaded the FontExpert 2005 demo and have been evaluating it. I want to know if I can "load" fonts or temporarily activate them instead of installing so they are deactivated when the program closes.

If this is already possible, I think an additional useful feature would be to allow an option when "loading" fonts:
1. load for this session only
2. install permanently (until uninstalled)
3. load for all sessions (font is only activated when the program is running).

I think this will give the user more control which I find necessary.

Just fill the contact message and specify your e-mail, and we will send a notification. We plan to release 8.0 in the middle of 2006.
